FÊTE DU PAIN AUX FRUITS ET DE L'ARTISANAT

To celebrate the Vosges craft, the secular Sinew of Sinew organizes every year the feast of Fruit and crafts bread. In the programme: a cascade of fruit breads, the reconstitution of a farm and animations! Come and rediscover the manufacture of traditional wood-fired bread. Nine different fruit breads will be offered, i. e. 1 600 kilos of baked breads, apples, pears, figs, hazelnuts for sale during this day. It is also an opportunity for artisans in the sector to make their profession discover their visitors. You will attend and participate in the rebuilding of a farm, demonstrations of old professions such as the marshal farrier, blacksmith, stone tailor, travail work, etc. Musical animations will also attuned the day with the Vosges folklore. The party usually starts around 11 am. There is a restaurant with typical Florentine dishes. On the menu: Vosges plate, grated doughnuts, smoked bacon, grilled sausages and campaign bread, country cheese and tartes pies.
