Since June 2007, the TGV EST has been linking Lorraine to Paris. The sliding snout of the TGV EST has placed Paris at 1 hour of the Meuse-TGV station (2 daily return), Metz 82 minutes and Nancy 90 minutes with 10 trips per day.
Three new stations are built within the European TGV framework. These stations complement the offer of downtown stations. They offer direct TGV links between East and Ile-de-France, North, South-West and West of France on the other. The train station in Strasbourg will also allow direct TGV connections to other French regions.
