TER Lorraine is the TER line network of the Lorraine administrative region. Its trade name is Métrolor, taken from the semi-processor service set up in 1970 on Nancy-Thionville. The transport of the TER is either by rail or by coach. By rail, you can go to virtually all the misty cities with a railway station (Nancy, Pont-à-monsoon, Epinal, Remiremont, Lunéville, etc.). You can also travel to Luxembourg, Belfort, Strasbourg, Longwy, Verdun, Reims etc. The TER Lorraine network by rail allows for long distances. It has recently been improved to better receive its travellers. Most of the TER Lorraine now have a double floor and facilities to help workers travel with their equipment. Moreover, 96% of trains are new! By bus, you can go to Thionville, Bouzonville, Kills, Remiremont, Bussang, La Bresse, Gerardmer, Epinal, Mirecourt, Vittel, Tournai, Lunéville, Sarreguemines, Sarrebourg, etc. Close to 60 specific rates coexist in the 20 TER regions. Youth maps and leisure cards are multiplying to give the TER reflex very early and on any occasion. In Lorraine, new ambitious pricing promotes the access of all Lorraine to TER. The journey from Metz to Nancy costs between 4,20 € and 6,10 € depending on the cuts. For more information on journeys and charges, visit the TER website: www.ter-sncf.com
