In 1946, the Landais Robert Installe moved to Bordeaux studios to sell some local products, Foie gras, Saumon's salmon and game. This is where the Labeyrie company is born, now famous in the sale of smoked salmon and foie gras. In the 1990 s, Labeyrie, implanted in Saint-Geours-de-Maremnne, is one of the lance of the creation of the South-West PGI in order to guarantee the origin of locally produced fatty livers, mainly in Landes and Pyrenees-Atlantique. The range of fatty livers proposed by the famous Landes brand is particularly extensive, ranging from classic to old and conservative fatty livers, without forgetting the "ultra practice" liver, a block proposed in an easy-to-open packaging or the mini-slices adapted to the preparation of original sofas and bouchées, for inventive aperitifs!
