Romanesque style church with a bell tower that breaks down into three points in Saint-Yaguen
The church, which is listed as a Monument Historique, is said to be a stopover on one of the routes to Compostela. The name of the town itself recalls the name of Saint-Jacques. The oldest parts of the church date back to the 12th century. Its Romanesque style is enhanced by a curious bell tower, divided into 3 points, each topped by a triangular roof, recalling the symbolism of the Holy Trinity. Inside, in the north apse, a 17th-century painting depicts the Holy Trinity.
