Chapel in Vittel, with beautiful stained glass windows and a statue of Our Lady of Good Remedy holding a glass of water
The Saint-Louis chapel is located in the park of the thermal establishment. It was built in two times, between 1910 and 1924. It shelters eight magnificent stained glasses. Its name is a tribute to Louis Bouloumié, former politician, founder of the thermal spa of Vittel. In the first hotel of Vittel, there was a space reserved for worship. The second chapel was also situated near the big hotels. What holds the attention of the Vittellois, it is the statue of Our Lady of Good Remedy, who holds in her hand a glass of water, sign of good health.
