VILLAGE 1900
An opportunity to stroll through the barns of the small village of Xaronval, and to discover the tools and trades of the past.
Every summer for several years, the small village of Xaronval has been travelling back in time to 1900. Every Sunday, volunteers, craftsmen, musicians, historians and even firemen take up the challenge of making us live as we did at the beginning of the century. The villagers wear their costumes and become teachers, coffee makers, antique dealers... You can stroll through the barns and discover the tools and crafts of yesteryear, settle on the benches of the school whose early 20th century decor has been completely restored, come by the bakery to contemplate the old bread oven, find our ancestors' toys at the small toy museum... From now on, it is also possible for you to order a diary of the day of your birth via the Internet. An original and singular idea that allows us to go back in time.
