ECOLOGICAL TRAIL

This trail leads into a few places impregnated with lovely legends. Discover and imagine those of the Marie-Louise Islands, the Fées Bridge, the Pont de l'Amour or the Charlemagne. One of these legends reported that the fairy Polybotte raised the bridge by those she attracted, thanks to a magical philtre. The Green ladies who, in the Gérardmer region haunting the forest, the edges of the Vologne, along with the shores of Lake Longemer, sometimes showed themselves on this bridge at midnight. The travelling traveller who went there suddenly found himself surrounded by fairy tales, wearing long green and light dresses and leading him into a crazy dance. Then one of them catches it through the hair, wins it at the jump of the Vats and rock it over the waterfall without releasing it. The unfortunate man who is already smashed, yelled the fairy that she let her in peace. After having suffered the laughter and mockery of these Green Ladies, they left it. Another trail leads to Heather Rock, its more difficult access is rewarded with a magnificent panorama.
