Campsite located in edge of Ariège and perfectly shaded proposing many animations the summer
Located on the edge of the Ariège river and perfectly shaded. In summer, many animations, for children and adults. In winter, a free shuttle will take you to the slopes of Ax 3 Domaines. During the summer, many events are organized at the campsite. On the spot, snack bar and grocery store, bar-restaurant La Tanière. A fitness room awaits you. Dogs on a leash are allowed. An excellent address for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts!

Camping déplorable
Emplacement non entretenu herbes folles bois morts, pour caravanes point d'eau inexistant sanitaire de "l'ile" indigne d'un 4 étoiles piscine trop petite.

I spent 1 summer in tent, right on the river, they were nice (attention to the sound of water because it is quite turbulent), very nice setting, rather shaded. The welcome is friendly, family atmosphere.
Too expensive for a traveller passage, but good value for money if you can enjoy the swimming pool, the many activities and equipment. Pretty chalets and bungalows for families. Camping is on a main road at the entrance of Ax, but a bucolic way along the river brings on foot in 5-10mn in the city centre safely.
Some negative points:
- the locations are not very big, but since one is the mountain, there is a good state spirit.
- I the opinion of " mid71" on the toilet blocks (at least that riverside), without really privacy and my direction not in the standard of a campsite 4*, a tiny space with 1 sink, 1 door leading out of 1 toilet and 1 with 1 shower, the doors open upstairs and foot, done to think of a certain sketch! However not worry side cleanliness.

Do not deserve its star. Outdated facilities. A herd of sheep comes to graze on the ground.
