BEDEILHAC CAVE
Cave of Bedeilhac which was a sanctuary, habitat, burial place, visits and animations in summer, classical concerts, exhibitions
Prehistoric discoveries made at the beginning of the 20th century have unearthed countless treasures from the Upper Paleolithic, Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages. This immense cave was at the same time a sanctuary, a habitat and a burial place for men during nearly 15000 years. In 1972, a great world first took place in the cave! An aviator landed and took off several times at the entrance of the cave. In addition to the visits, the summers are marked by animations: concerts of classical music and exhibitions of painting.
