LA MAISON ROUGE
Restaurant close to the city centre to enjoy the great classics of Alsatian gastronomy.
To be red, it is red this house, and surrounded by greenery! Just a few steps from the city centre, at the entrance to the pedestrian street, you cannot miss it, and that's all the better! Here you can enjoy the great classics of the Alsatian gastronomy, including flambées tartes (served lunch and evening, except in November and December where they are à la carte in the evening). Other dishes that honour the region: baeckeoffe, perch with riesling, kidney calf kidney, onion pie, snails to the Alsatian, grumbereckiechle gratiné in Munster, bouchées to the queen, sauerkraut, and then icy kougelhopf to gewurztraminer marc, apple pie and struedel. The dining room is typical with beautiful frescoes signed by Charly Barrat, a famous Alsatian painter. The south-facing terrace is tree-lined and flowery… and therefore very popular when the sun shines. Furthermore, the amateurs of maltées and sparkling drinks will not fail to take a small turn on the side of the bierstub, where, here too, the red dominates the walls: 60 types of beers are offered, but also cocktails with seasonal flavours. A small card is available here (dessert, pizza, quiches) until pm, from Friday evening to Sunday.
