Russian and Armenian restaurant in Foix offering different typical specialties
Saint-Gayané is the name of a Roman martyr who took refuge in Armenia. It's also the name of the owner of this Russian-Armenian restaurant. In the kitchen, her mother concocts daily dishes and pastries, taking us on a journey through various specialties such as Dolma with cabbage, Armenian Kebab (unique in the region), meat cooked in tundir, typical Armenian home-made hollow barbecue, served with homemade Armenian bread. On the Russian side, you can enjoy ravioli or Moscow chicken ballotine. Tip: late-night service.

Food was great, wine was terrible, worse than vinegar. 3 euro bottle of wine sold to us for 22. Sad end to meal.
