A spring renowned for the quality of its water, which had its moment of glory in the Belle Époque from Carcassonne to Toulouse.
Foncirgue is a spring which knew its hour of glory thanks to the thermal baths famous for the quality of its waters. Today, fallen into disuse, the local people continue however to come there and to drink this water. Known since Antiquity, it had its hour of glory in the Belle Epoque from Carcassonne to Toulouse. It is said that Jean de La Fontaine came here to take the waters. And of this thermal past there remain only two wooden kiosks built in the 1920s; one of them shelters a fountain decorated with tritons where one can collect water.
