Home to bison, fallow deer, yaks, deer and other animal species in Lapenne.
Aida Aleix welcomes you with warmth and kindness to her 76-hectare estate, home to bison, fallow deer, yak, deer and forty other species. Opt for the 1h15 guided tour aboard a tractor-drawn trailer driven by Marc, Aida's father (and covered in case of rain or too much sun), which will enable you to observe this wildlife in its natural state. On site: mini-farm, exhibition room, educational room, picnic area, snack bar, store selling pâtés, rillettes, civets and farm sausages.

+: beautiful panoramic terrace, good meat, ice cream with sheep milk, friendly service, but you must book in summer!
Beautiful picnic area shaded with tables. The stuffed animals make the delight of children. High chairs for babies, you are heated baby food or water for the baby bottle.
Mini closes is very nice, bring dry bread and carrots or apples for chickens and goats! However, they are very gourmet and can messe around you, frightens small children. We, one case ourselves behind wire to avoid a bit of horn lost.
-:
filter coffee... forgiveness, but do not up and €2.
The toilets foot are not very appetising.
The stuffed animals are really too dusty, there are too many cobwebs.
The playground is lamentable. Until last year, access to mini closes and playground are free. They are now only for those who went to the restaurant or the promenade (very nice) tractor. I understand that it became a fee, it is primarily a company and then it is more normal only " type-cul" that is dilapidated and unusable for two children, below the swings full of clay with deep narrow sludge after the least rain, the structure to climb not repaired (it lacks two bars that runs perpendicular to all wood, one of them was broken and a crenellated piece of fifteen inch exceeds... very dangerous).
In short, a pleasant exit, very expensive family if the option restaurant is taken + walk in tractor. But if you eat simple (only cold cuts tea and chips, calle) and that it is the mini farm + footpath, deals to a beautiful exit with no too many fresh, and children are usually happy to get there.
Small more editorial: -): while setting towards Labastide-de-Lordat, you will be a bridge on the left whose is a very nice beach along a quiet section of the river, super to cool off after a hot day in the bison.
The park farm animals was fun for children, however space playground has been invaded of grass and inaccessible.
The area picnic is pleasant and shady.
Must, it is obviously the guided tour of the park with comment that are very interesting and you really see animals close.
We have spent very good moment.
