This factory, created in 1955 by Michel Thierry, has recently been transferred to the American flag (Adient is the world's leading car seat manufacturer). The company, based in Laroque-d'Olmes, continues its activity of manufacturing fabrics dedicated to the automotive market. But now it is taking the path of innovation, through experiments and projects in the field of the environment. Adient is particularly involved in the Géofibnet project, which works on the development of new textiles of plant origin. The idea is to create a chain, from the field to the product, 100% Occitanie, from flax straw grown in the region
