Médical Textile Ariégeois - MTA - is first and foremost a company specialising in compression stockings: these socks which are often associated with a somewhat outdated accessory, but which nevertheless have no equal in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and the preservation of venous capital. With this medical expertise, MTA has developed a sock designed to promote the performance and recovery of athletes. Called Topsportif, it is adapted to the physiological situation (depending on whether the person wears it during exercise, after a competition or intensive training, or during a trip where he/she would remain in an extended static position), and according to the sport practiced: running, cycling, trail, racket, triathlon, outdoor, winter sports, team sports... Protected by six patents, Topsportif socks are distinguished by their weaving. The screened production, which consists in winding the yarn on the leg by tightening it more or less tightly according to its position, ensures comfort and efficiency. MTA's products are undeformable and have won over many sports clubs, including Toulouse FC, the French basketball and alpine skiing teams and the French shooting federation.
