Museum allowing to rediscover the reconstitution of a mountain spinning mill of the beginning of the XIXth century, the work of the jet...

Spinning, weaving, knitting, finishing, dyeing, horn combing, such are the different departments of this museum installed in an old cloth factory. This Textile and Horn Comb Museum tells us the story of these two traditional activities in the Pays d'Olmes. The visitor will discover the reconstitution of a mountain spinning mill of the beginning of the 19th century, old machines as well as the work of the jet, the horn comb and documents on the working memory.

Habillage tentures couvertures toiles...
