Your visit is divided into three parts: the interpretation centre to discover the life of the first men who occupied the site, the guided tour to relive the archaeologists' excavations and, 1.5 km away, the museum with a collection of prehistoric objects from the cave.

Visite très interressante avec un guide dynamique et qui maîtrise parfaitement son sujet.

Haut lieu de la préhistoire européenne célèbre pour ses os gravés du Magdalénien visibles dans un petit musée à 10 min à pied. Il n'y a pas de gravures ou de peintures rupestres visibles dans la grotte ni des concrétions mais des crânes d'ours et des os d'animaux préhistoriques.
C'est une rivière souterraine, le site est grandiose, les volumes sont dignes d'une cathédrale. Sortie idéale pour les amateurs d'archéologie.

Une belle expérience pour cette visite de grotte. Réservé le matin même pour une visite a 14h00. Notre guide était très sympathique et n'as pas hésité à répondre aux 1001 questions. De belles cavitées et de beaux espaces. Un parking aménagé un peu plus loin après la traversée du tunnel/ grotte en venant de Toulouse. Un accès aménagé en contre bas de la route pour venir en toute sécurité.
Dans le prix est combiné le prix du musée que nous n'avons pas pu encore visiter (nous avons 1 an pour le faire) vous souhaitant une belle découverte à tous
