There are jams that spread and those that are boiled with a teaspoon as a delicacy. With its top-of-the-range "confiotes", simmered in the respect of tradition in Lorp-Sentaraille, in the heart of Ariège, the Compagnie des Pyrénées (ex Jams of the Pyrenees) is located in the gourmets' camp. The company, founded in 1987, shakes pots with its own recipes, but whose bases are always the same: fruit and vegetables with a good taste of nature, combined with the know-how of the men and women who make up and keep the house alive with passion. Compagnie des Pyrénées thus offers several ranges of extra jams, marmalades, jellies or coulis, as well as pods with beautiful and practical packaging that can easily be slipped into a pocket or bag. More recently, the company has started to manufacture candied onions, figs, mangoes, balsamic vinegar, etc., and condiments. Compagnie des Pyrénées produces a 100% French ketchup. Colourless, preservative-free, additive-free and gluten-free, this sauce comes in different flavours: tomato of course, but also carrot, or beetroot! Other versions - smoked or seasoned with Espelette pepper for example - are also available to give strength and flavour to hamburgers and other sandwiches.
