This church has a monumental stained glass window from the late 19th century.
The Saint-Jean-Baptiste-de-Manses church, originally a priory of the Montolieu abbey, boasts a monumental stained glass window dating from the late 19th century. It is placed at the transept crossing, making it unique in France, probably in Europe and perhaps in the world. It is the size of a cathedral rose window, but in a horizontal position, whereas all stained glass windows of this size are generally vertical. Designed by Ferdinand Hucher, son of master glassmaker Eugène Hucher of the Fabrique du Carmel du Mans, it depicts seven scenes from the life of John the Baptist.
