We reach this refuge located at 1 970 m of altitude in 3 hours of walk. It shelters 5 separate dormitories, 3 of 15 places and 2 of 12 places. Each bed is equipped with a mattress and blankets. The supply of most of the goods is done by heliportation. The fresh food is transported by the guards in backpacks. The setting of the granite walls of the Pics Rouges at sunset and the observation of the isards playing in the snow in the early morning are the joys of the refuge of En Beys. Theme evenings are organized in summer.
