COUETTE MAXIME
After sewing sportswear and sleeping bags for the high mountains for more than fifteen years, Christine Gil created her artisanal duvet factory in Querigut at the end of 2007. Supported by the inhabitants of her village, this talented little hand has created a blanket with innovative technical features. The Maxime duvet offers an even distribution of down over its entire surface thanks to a system of micro-aerated partitions. Since her inception, Christine Gil has also developed new coverage models. The Happiness duvet, divided in two, offers a warmer side than the other - ideal for those who share a diaper but do not feel the same way in the cold or heat. The Ronde duvet, as its name suggests, was created in response to the growing success of circular beds. The small Ariège company, which also offers quilts, works with natural materials: 100% cotton fabric and pure farmhouse grey goose down from the southwest. The Maxime duvet has also recently launched into the manufacture of sleeveless vests, down jackets and sleeping bags, which offer a good resistance to cold.
