COMBELONGUE MILL
The Combelongue mill, a milling museum brought back to life by André Duval.
The mill of Combelongue is an educational site, a real museum of milling with two pairs of millstones working by the force of water. The mill had not been in operation since 1910, but it has been given a second life thanks to the perseverance and courage of André Duval, who has worked hard to bring this place steeped in history back to life, with no other help than his enthusiasm and his fierce will. This seven centuries old water mill has only the two millstones and the frame intact. It is the only mill in France where one can access the basement.
