AÉRO-CLUB DE L'ARIÈGE

The Antichan aerodrome offers an exceptional setting for aviation enthusiasts. The Ariege flying club offers a wide range of activities including gliding, flying and microlighting. Aeroclub members have access to all these activities in ideal aerological conditions for gliding. The airfield, inaugurated in 1938, boasts modern facilities and a fleet of aircraft to suit all tastes and passions. Volunteer instructors are on hand to guide pilots through all three disciplines, from initiation to private pilot's license. Every year, new pilots obtain their license, enabling them to fly in total freedom. The aeroclub also organizes special events, such as an open day and an evening of entertainment, giving you the chance to discover the world of aviation. For those wishing to stay nearby, there is accommodation in bungalows with a communal swimming pool and a restaurant, the O'Drey, which offers on-site catering.
