PRIVATE MANSIONS

Three were built in the th century on plans by Jean Parate student of Mansard. We pass, rue du Ravieux, in front of the hotel du Grand Rivié, built for a protected De, minister of Louis XIV. Rue Hygonet, Hotel Ricard is at the same time. He held sumptuous festivals in the th century. Rue de l'Hôtel-de-Ville, the hotel de Fajole is housed in a wooden door and contains a beautiful stone staircase. These special hotels do not visit, unless the owners invite you to discover their property… During the course of the walk, the high and narrow houses of the Tanneries district and several religious buildings which testify to the former preponderance of the clergy and the importance of the city are displayed.
