A space of 40 m2 dedicated to religious art including goldsmith's accessories, a statue of the Virgin in polychrome wood...

A visit for two themes. First an exploration in the universe of the chestnut. 140m2 of exhibition to discover the tree, the fruit and its cycles, then the stages of the maturity of the fruit until its transformation. A 15 minutes documentary film on the chestnut and the history of Ayssènes completes the visit. Then a space of 40m2 dedicated to the religious art including accessories of goldsmithery, a statue of the Virgin in polychrome wood, two paintings of the XVIIth century..

Perdu mais le lieu et le petit musée.. ça vaut le détour. Notez qu'il y a un parking en dehors du village pour ne pas avoir à déranger les locaux ( c'est très exigu )
