THE CASTLE
Castle with an impressive medieval hall with weapons and armor
Before reaching the foot of its walls and its first terrace, we see it massive and compact, gathered around its square keep. Its fortifications and their corner towers enclose a central courtyard, which is entered by a narrow drawbridge, restored to a state of grace. The visits (about 1 hour) lead to the different buildings restored under the impulse of the architect Fernand Pouillon who presided over the reconstruction of the old port in Marseille. Other curiosities: the medieval room with its weapons and armours, impressive.
