GARDENS OF BOURNAZEL CASTLE
Gardens created during the Renaissance by the castle's sponsors, Charlotte Mancip and her husband Jean de Buissons
The gardens were created during the Renaissance by the castle's sponsors, Charlotte Mancip and her husband Jean de Buisson. Their geometrical layout follows the proportions of the large serlienne façade of the east wing. They consist of two distinct spaces. On the one hand, the orchard, and on the other hand, the walled garden limited by a large stone wall that shelters flowered and cut flower beds, a labyrinth, fountains, a large pond and a bedroom garden.
