Romanesque church composed of a nave with five bays, flanked by very narrow aisles but without a transept
Clinging to its rocky spur, which dominates the course of the Dourdou, this Romanesque church in pink stone has maintained its place at the top. Built in the 12th century on the model of the famous abbey church of Conques, it comprises a five-bay nave, flanked by very narrow side aisles but without a transept. The choir is surrounded by an ambulatory with five small chapels. If you look up, you will be surprised to see that the walls spread upwards without the vault showing any signs of cracks.
