An English park and remarkable garden adjoining the Château de Kolbsheim, featuring statues, water features and more.

This remarkable garden adjoins the château. The French-style terraced gardens leading down to the Bruche River and the English-style park are unique in the region. Stroll at your own pace, among the boxwood benches, around the statues and water features or the hornbeam hedges carved into shady galleries. A succession of woods and meadows with trees over a hundred years old. Take the carved pink sandstone Way of the Cross to the beautiful chapel. The visit is free.

Opening time and information on PARK AND GARDEN OF KOLBSHEIM CASTLE

Remarkable garden. Open from mid-April to the end of September. Open for July 14th, Heritage Days and Rendez-Vous aux Jardins. Also by appointment. Open Thursday to Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm. Free admission. Adults: €5. Free for children accompanying their parents. Group rate €4/person.

Een verborgen pareltje. Een prachtige rustige tuin met verrassende elementen. Zo is er op een gerestaureerde muur een fraaie kruisweg te zien.

Visité ce mois de juillet 2023. Certes l'entrée n'est que 5 €, mais l'entretien laisse à désirer. De plus demander 100€ pour y faire des photos de mariage, c'est abusé, sachant que dans le coin il y a des propriétés bien plus jolies et plus entretenues à moitié prix. Château fermé et se délabre (c'est dommage). Il y a un fort potentiel mais ça demande du travail et de la rigueur. Je ne recommande pas.
