STEPHANE SZENDY
Szendy Stephane is a jeweler located in Coubisou, Aveyron. Since birth, he has been immersed in the world of artistic creation thanks to his parents, Anna Stein, painter, sculptor and jewelry designer, and Arisztid Szendy, jewelry designer and sculptor. They passed on to him the techniques needed to make his own creations. Szendy Stephane has been exhibiting his creations at trade fairs since 2000, and has taken part in Maison et Objet twice a year since 2006. In 2006, he became a member of Ateliers d'Art de France, and in 2011 he was awarded the "Arts-Sciences-Lettres" distinction. His sculpture and jewelry creations combine different materials such as hammering, wood, bronze, glass, enamel, bone, horn and patinated stone. Inspired by nature and the heritage of art history, her creations are finely chiselled in a variety of metals and woods. They are distinguished by their sober aesthetic, halfway between totem and trophy, which imposes its silent presence.
