The 15th century castle allows, through its surprisingly well preserved rooms, to discover the daily life in the Middle Ages. The imposing building has a massive silhouette and takes the form of a rectangle flanked by three corner towers. The castle as we know it today dates from the end of the 15th century, when Louis de Panat, having abandoned Peyrebrune, came to live there permanently. He rebuilt the castle to make it a more comfortable home in a milder climate and completed the construction of the village walls.

Verrassend leuk klein kasteeltje in het dorpje Coupiac in het Parc Naturel Regional des Grandes Causses in Aveyron (Frankrijk). Tot medio september 's ochtends en 's middags te bezichtigen. Leuk middeleeuws ingericht.

Hele vriendelijk mensen, spraken ook Engels. Voor de kleintjes was er een speurtocht naar sleutels en ze konden zich verkleden.
De inrichting binnen vond ik beetje tegen vallen.

Très beau château. Les campagnes de restauration ont redonné une partie de sa splendeur historique au lieu. À faire dans la région du Rouergue.
