Boat trip to discover tanneries, vineyards, almond trees, kingfishers, grey herons..

During a 3 km boat trip on the Tarn, the Bateliers du viaduc will tell you about the river and the history of Millau, the tanneries and the leather factories, the vineyards and the almond trees, the kingfishers and the grey herons... And above all the Millau viaduct, its titanic construction site, its imposing architecture seen from below, and finally Peyre, and its semi-troglodytic church, which constitute the final point of a pleasant stroll along the water.

Pour moi qui suis paralysé par une maladie, la gentillesse, la prévenance, la passion, m'a permis de vivre une expérience unique, dans un décor grandiose, celui de la rivière le Tarn, de passer, sous ce viaduc de tous les records, celui de Millau. Nos Pères Romains, ces grands architectes, auraient été fiers de nous....

Merci à notre batelier, tout en kaki, trés bon marin, très bon guide pour cette agréable balade de 1h environ, sur la rivière le Tarn d'où nous avons pu admirer le viaduc de Millau, les berges sauvages et le village de Peyre.
