THE DEVÈZ WATERFALL
An impressive waterfall in the heart of the Roquette-Bonneval national forest, one of the most remarkable in Aveyron.
About thirty meters high, the Devèz waterfall is one of the most remarkable of the department. Situated in the hollow of the Roquette-Bonneval state forest, it has long remained confidential due to the difficulty of locating it. Today, two marked trails (5 km in 1h30 and 9.8 km in 3h15) allow hikers to discover this particularly well-preserved natural site, which also has a wolf pit. Because of its shady location, this walk is very pleasant to do in summer when the sun is beating down hard.
