CAMBEYRAC HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT
Hydroelectric power station EDF of Cambeyrac, benefiting from a belvedere arranged in front of the factory on the left bank of the Truyère
The Cambeyrac power station was commissioned in 1957. Today it produces the equivalent of the consumption of a town of 14,000 inhabitants: that is to say 10 times that of the population of Entraygues-sur-Truyère! A viewpoint, built in front of the plant on the left bank of the Truyère, offers binoculars for observation and information modules to learn more about its operation. From the outside, it is also possible to observe the engine room.
