It is in the heart of Espalion that the Brasserie du Marché welcomes us for a well-deserved gourmet and refreshing break. Large salads, sandwiches and dishes of the day to enjoy in a warm atmosphere. During the summer months, the establishment has a pleasant sunny terrace on the Place du Marché, an opportunity to enjoy one of the ice creams on the menu (25 different flavours) or a good waffle. Je suis venu en famille, pensant bien manger, que ce soit en qualité ou en quantité mais rien de tout cela ! Nous sommes ressortis avec la faim, tellement les portions étaient minuscules ! Même mon fils de 12 ans avait faim à l'issue du repas. Heureusement que j'ai réclamé une corbeille de pain, que j'ai terminée pour remplir mon estomac.
Si les prix étaient en rapport avec la quantité proposée dans les assiettes, je comprendrais mais là, c'est loin, mais alors très loin d'être le cas.
J'en ai fait part au serveur qui, ironiquement a rapporté mes propos à ce qu'il a appelé "le chef". Il ne me tardait qu'une chose: fuir cet établissement pour aller acheter dans une supérette de quoi manger.
Un conseil, évitez cet établissement qui fait honte à l'Aveyron !
