LE D'ESTAING
Small, popular pilgrim restaurant at the foot of the castle, offering a lunchtime menu and pizzas to eat in or take away
Alain and his daughter Fanny run this small restaurant at the foot of the château with great complicity and good humor. Le D'Estaing has become a popular spot for pilgrims, offering a menu every lunchtime (including homemade chicken pané, roast camembert and charcuterie, fresh tagliatelle and cured ham, and grilled meat), as well as pizzas to eat in or take away. The quality of the food is unquestionable, as is the friendly, family-style welcome. We recommend a break at this charming address.
