LES ÂNES DE LAVAGNOL

Marius, Leon, Cadichon, Seraphim, Hazelnut, Parsley, Mickey, Quézaco and Ballou form a livestock like no other. The nine donkeys, housed at an altitude of 650 metres in the heart of the Grands Causses natural park, in the small Lavagnol valley, are real sportsmen and women, experienced in the walks and hikes around Sylvanès. Hervé, who in 2012 took over the activity previously launched by his neighbours, has set up several tours, from three hours to several days, to discover the region in a different way. In addition to carrying the bags -or the toddlers when they are out of breath- the donkeys impose their character and rhythm until they become real walking companions. Hervé does not hesitate to speak of asinotherapy to translate the benefits of these accompanied walks, infallible according to him to forget the stress and pressure of daily life.
