Owner-harvesters and bottlers, Philippe Cros and his son Julien have inherited from their forebears not only a land, but also a history and a passion for the vine. Their Domaine du Cros, some 30 hectares of terraced Fer Servadou, produces remarkable wines and aperitifs every year. Keen to promote their terroir and share the work and know-how of five generations of authentic winegrowers, Philippe and Julien are now open to wine tourism and have set up a cultural and educational trail at the heart of the estate.

Owner's Message
The story of Philippe Teulier, now assisted by his son Julien, is that of a winegrower who has forged an estate to match his passion. In 1984, he took over the family farm and decided to turn it into a wine estate. Study, hard work and the result: the initial meagre hectare of vines has been expanded by another thirty-three, terraced on the red earth of the hills above Clairvaux. Its production is rightly considered remarkable. All the estate's production comes from Fer Servadou, the only grape variety in the Marcillac appellation. The red wines, Lo Sang del Païs, Les Vieilles Vignes and Les Rougiers, are fruity, finely spiced and generous.
