SOBAC
Marcel Mézy has many facets: the imagination and audacity of inventors, the common sense and know-how of farmers from generation to generation. For more than thirty years, this Arab thoroughbred breeder has been passionate about organic farming. And it uses its land, which stretches from Montrozier to the Lévézou plateau, to develop products capable of restoring life to lands depleted by years of chemical treatment. It was at the very beginning of the 1980s, almost by chance, by pushing compost heaps on top of each other, that he created a revolutionary process, a humus accelerator. This 100% natural fertilizer is made up of twelve different types of plants and fungi. But its exact formulation remains a jealously guarded secret. Marketed under the name Bacteriosol to treat the soil, Bacteriolit to enrich manure, and Bacteriometha to improve the energy production of methanizers, this cocktail is now used by more than 5,000 farmers in France and certified by Ecocert for organic farming.
