Private museum featuring collectors' items alongside old, everyday cutting tools and their manufacture

Within the Honoré Durand cutlery and forge, a Living Heritage company, this private museum offers an exhibition of old-fashioned tools and collector's items, fashioned thanks to the know-how of men. The visit can be coupled with a visit to the cutlery manufacturing workshops, to discover the gestures and the steps necessary to the birth of the famous Laguiole knife, of which the largest model in the world, 6 meters high and 10 tons, stands in front of the building.

Une visite faite par un passionné; qui nous a appris avec humour et patience l'histoire des couteaux. Nous étions un groupe de 15 personnes, enfants et adultes, tout le monde a été ravis.
