OUR LADY OF THE EAST

Isolated, suitable for the meditation sought by the Benedictine nuns who occupy it, this beautiful 17th century church is worth a visit. It is part of a small estate, property of the order, one of whose walls is decorated with a sundial. You enter through a porch that opens onto the nave. Also worth seeing are the vaults and the beautiful herringbone ceiling, the altarpiece and the liturgical paintings. But be quiet, because there is always a member of the community at prayer. On the fifth Sunday after Easter, the church hosts a large pilgrimage every year.
