BARNABÉ
Matthieu Lunet belongs to this generation of new craftsmen, those who opt for a manual trade after a first professional career. The young Aveyron native, a graduate of a business school, first worked in marketing before transforming his passion for wood into an entrepreneurial adventure. Since 2012, after a return to the Boulle school, Matthieu Lunet has been at the head - and hands! - of Barnabas. Cabinetmaker and designer, he now creates furniture in self-publishing. Understand that he makes it himself or that he entrusts its manufacture to local craftsmen. His Narya tables, which combine a solid wooden top with a metal base, are thus very representative of his work. Matthieu Lunet likes clean lines, geometric and graphic shapes, the confrontation between materials... All the parts he imagines are customizable. The young craftsman can adapt, on request, the dimensions, the choice of wood and its finish, but also the treatment of the metal - lacquered, brushed, stained... It also offers tailor-made solutions in terms of space planning.
