THEATRE MUNICIPAL DUCOURNEAU
Enjoying a beautiful exhibition on the Place du Docteur Esquirol, the municipal theater of Agen offers a varied program.
A very nice theater whose construction harmoniously completes the balance of the Esquirol square. The building is next to the museum and the town hall. Its construction began in 1906, but a stage already existed at the time of Napoleon III, which notably welcomed the famous singer Hortense Schneider. Classical performances, contemporary shows, musicals, concerts, one-man shows: the program is as eclectic as possible to reach all audiences. Stéphanie Waldt was appointed director in November 2018.
