This old church, now desecrated, is the only vestige of the important Dominican convent that occupied a whole district in the west of the city. Built in the 13th century, it has the shape of a rectangular vessel rather than a cross, as was the custom of this monastic order which advocated a certain austerity. The Jacobins church has become a superb temporary exhibition space for the Agen Fine Arts Museum. Attention: the site is only open during exhibitions.
