AGGLOMÉRATION D'AGEN

The Communauté d'agglomération d'Agen, has included 29 towns since the 1^st January 2014 and has just obtained a tourist competency in order to federate the whole of the towns around a common project. For the moment, the tourist highlights of Agen are the natural park of Passeligne, "green lung" of the urban area, it offers an area of relaxation, leisure... The lateral canal to the Garonne and its green lane are one of key facilities of the territory for pleasant touring and constitutes a true touristic appeal. The territory is also crossed with numerous hiking trails on foot or by mountain bikes, this can be an original way to discover the heritage. The Agen agglomeration becomes a prime destination of business tourism, in term of infrastructure, a new conference center was open in June 2014 and complements the offer of the reception places for the business events and shows.
