ART NOUVEAU HOUSE
A private estate whose architecture and elegance are well worth a look
It is a private property, but its architecture and its presence are well worth a look. Opposite the Florida, at 56 Carnot Boulevard, this corner house in the Art Nouveau style, or modern style, is a splendor. Its small balconies, its roof, its curves and moldings, everything makes it a work of art. It was built in 1896 on the plans of the architect Ephraïn Pinètre in a style imitating the vegetation and was registered in 2000 as a historical monument of the city. It is also known by the name of its creator, the Pinètre house.
