AGEN CANAL BRIDGE
This 539-metre-long bridge-canal is an architectural feat offering a splendid panoramic view of the river.
France's second longest canal bridge (539 metres), this structure is almost unique - only three bridges are alike. It offers a splendid panoramic view over the Garonne and the Ermitage hillside! Built of Quercy ashlar between 1839 and 1843, this jewel took ten years to complete. A popular spot for joggers and cyclists in particular, the building is a great starting point for a family outing. In 2016, renovation work was completed on the canal bridge, which is now illuminated at night. Café, bike and skatepark nearby.
