Municipal archives and memorial space to discover documents from the French Revolution to the present day on Agen.
The premises regroup the Municipal Archives and the Espace Mémoriel de la Résistance et de la Déportation. Considered as the memory of the city, the collection of the Municipal Archives of Agen is made up of a large amount of documents from the French Revolution to the present day: historical documents, photos, plans, newspaper articles... In the reading room, it is possible to consult, free of charge, works retracing the history of the city of Agen, the "Revue de l'Agenais" founded in 1874 and the local daily newspaper "Le Petit Bleu" (since 1967).
