The premises house the Municipal Archives and the Espace Mémoriel de la Résistance et de la Déportation. Considered to be the city's memory, the Agen Municipal Archives holdings include a wealth of documents dating from the French Revolution to the present day: historical documents, photos, plans, newspaper articles, etc. In the reading room, you can consult, free of charge, works tracing the history of the city of Agen, the "Revue de l'Agenais", founded in 1874, and the local daily newspaper "Le Petit Bleu" (since 1967).
