JARDIN JAYAN
Pleasure park with a forest of a hundred or so trees surrounding a maze of water features
It was created in the last years of the 19th century. Located opposite the Lycée Bernard Palissy, this park with its elegant winding paths, shaded by trees of various species, benefited from a major redevelopment in 2013. In 2020, its playground was modernized, with the addition of structures specially designed for children with reduced mobility. Jardin Jayan is a haven of greenery and tranquillity in the heart of the city. The park is popular with the people of Agen for a family stroll at weekends, or simply a lunch break during the week.
